Welcome to 7 Sisters Stables and Wild Blue Heron.

We are a sustainable family farm located at Witch Creek in the Ballena Valley, North San Diego County, California.  Our property is between the country communities of Ramona and Julian off Highway 78.  Situated on 20 acres of rolling foothills, we offer wrap-around views of Witch Mountain, the valley, horse and cattle ranches, the Hatfield Creek watershed, and the Cuyamaca Mountains.  The San Dieguito River Park and Coast to Crest trail will be nearly as they run 55 miles from the Pacific Ocean at Del Mar to the river's source on Volcan Mountain, just north of Julian.  Volcan Mountain and Santa Ysabel Open Space Preserve are already open!

7 Sisters Stables is a registered breeder of Llamas, Alpacas, and Nubian Goats.  We sponsor the San Diego County Llama and Alpaca 4H project.  Our llamas and alpacas support Ramona Trails Association and other local events.

We harvest our natural fibres including llama, alpaca, various wools, angora goat and rabbit. Fibre is available raw, washed, pin-draft roving, or as handspun yarn.   We have 100% fiber as well as various exotic blends.   Woven, crocheted, and knit apparel is also available.

We hand craft goat's milk & oatmeal soaps, bath products including fizzies and bath bombs, and herbal salves.

Our vineyard is a part of the Ramona Valley American Viticulture Area and we grow Petite Sirah and Sauvignon Blanc grapes.

Farm tours and day hikes are available by appointment.
